Hey there everyone~ Sterling and a bunch of guys flew out from Portland yesterday...They are headed to EFY, a church camp for a week. They are really excited because it is at BYU campus and they really have a great time. Flying was a first for Sterling and he is coming home that way too.
NEWS UPDATE ON JORDAN:

While we have been excited about Jordan's State Championship...Sterling had went on a 50 miler hike down the Lower Rogue. He had a great time and saw bear, lots of snakes, and skink. They went on natural water slides and basically got dirty, and hung out with the guys for the past week. He had a great time and I am glad he had the opportunity.
Sterling leaves for EFY on Sat. Jordan won't be going now, since he will be in Idaho for the Regional Tournament. Carson is in a play at the local theatre. He is the Pirate Captain. I will keep you all posted.

Check this Out!!! Go to this site for the Daily Courier and scrolldown to sports and see Jordan hitting and making an outstanding catch in the first two video clips...Babe Ruth 14 yr old All-Stars games the 19th and 22nd. http://www.thedailycourier.com/0723Cnelsenvid.html

They Did it!!! Jordan and his All-Stars Babe Ruth team won the State Championship.... They are on to the Regional games in Boise Idaho. They had a perfect game at 10 - 0. Jordan ended up with the highest batting average and made an amazing catch with a leap and a roll. Here he is being interviewed and asked about that catch for the news at 11.

Sunday's semi-final game

Jordan went 5 for 5 in the last semi-final game and they are going on to the State Championship game at two this afternoon. Here is Jordan hustling to third.

Sat. Tourney Game

Today's game (Sat.) has been a bit of an eye opener for the team. Going into the game a bit cocky they lost this one. Jordan still hit well and played well defensively. We will see how Sunday goes.

Jordan in the Newspaper

I think that this paper is too small of print for the 1st page...We will see if it appears. If not, I might have to try again.

Sterling will be home tomorrow from hiking the lower Rogue. Hopefully he will have good pictures and stories for me to tell.

This is page 2 on the news paper..He is quoted in the 1st two paragraphs...

More~ Babe Ruth All-Stars 2007

So...Check it out...Jordan's team is hothothot!!! They won 17-1 today and they got that by the end of the second inning. Jordan is excited..but if they keep winning he will miss a week, because the boys leave for EFY in a week. Today is also went 3 for 3 and is very happy. I am uploading his write ups. Yesterday, the paper quoted him also, but I have not scanned it... Apparently, Jordan thinks he is the team spokesperson. :) He is happy and having a good time.

Sterling~

Can you believe I have a 16 year old and driving. Sterling loves his new found freedom...Let's just hope he can keep it:)
He is doing very well. Sterling is making money working at Papa Murphy's and he is still busy riding his freeboard and unicycle around town. Helps keep him in shape, he says. He has been very helpful to me and I appreciate it so much.

Jordan~

Jordan is 15...and full of energy. He got his permit and now wants to drive everywhere. He also is a "Brace-face". Just got them...and is excited about having straight teeth. He also is completely into baseball. He's a catcher and plays on 3 teams...Whew! Needless to say, he sleeps well at night.

Carson~

This is one Crazy 7 year old...He swims like a fish and when he smiles...he has no front teeth.:) Always looking for adventure, Carson is busy chasing after the big boys and their friends, trying to find the best way to trick them. He is very clever, and manages it quite well.

Kennedy~

Kennedy is my super smart, "almost 5" year old daughter, who is constantly trying to outwit her brother's. She is always busy and keeps us on our toes. Swimming lessons is what she is doing at this time and playing babies. One day she will be the best mommy.
