Our 1st Game against Texas....Major Bummer!

SO...We played our first game after 2 weeks...and it wasn't pretty. The score...1-13...a broken wrist, hip out, ball off nose, plus some attitude and humidity.

We are hoping for a better play tomorrow against Wisconsin.

On a better note...Dora and the kids came. We ate at Out back and cruised the Fort and Gallows, and Miss Laura's, Bordello....Yes that it right. It is now a Visitor's Center. I will add the pictures.

The kids are having a great time and so am I! Dora arrives tomorrow morning!
It is crazy...The people are so excited to have us here the hospitality is AWESOME!

At the World Series...Van Buren, Arkansas

So we made it in one piece. I was beginning to have doubts on the little hopper plane for a bit, but Arkansas is pretty (A bit like home, but without mountains) and the people are all very friendly and love having the series here.

We lucked out. They are having a storm so it is only in the 70's 80's with humidity, but not too much unlike Oregon summer storms. So our boys are at an advantage. They can play in rain fine. It has only rained a bit though. I was worried about the 110 temp with 85% humidity. I am definately HAPPY!

Here is Jordan at the Banquet...He did the Chick dance in front of everyone at the Banquet...Like 1000 people. Met a pro player and got his ball autographed. Won 25.00 for doing the macarena at the opening ceremonies. Does this surprise anyone? And basically has adopted his host family.

So...I am having a great time and thanks to all of you that made this happen for me! MWAH! Any of you at home...give Sterling a call, he is a bit lonely. Been calling me alot!

THE CATCH....

Today I am thanking my Heavenly Father for the many Blessings I have. I am so grateful to be going to Arkansas. To watch my handsome son play ball at one of the most exciting events of his life....And to be able to see my very Best Bosom Buddy...Dora. Dora told me today that she and Nick and the kids are coming to the weekend games. Two whole days with Dora and the family. Plus, this oh so exciting World Series. I am truly Blessed! Thank you all who helped make this happen! MWAH!
